To each his own.
I personally would "freedive" (if you can call it that) there.
For me there's just something about hearing everything in the water as opposed to being drowned out or whitewashed by your regulator.
But on the flip side I can see how sitting at the bottom and just staring around for an hour would be fun for a while or two.
