I estimate that using a spring from a Scubapro Mk200 in a Mk3 should get you an IP of about 240 psi, if the seat will withstand the extra force. A few shims should push it towards 300 psi.

I would think you would have to up the durometer of the piston head oring and maybe add a backup ring with that much pressure differential across it.
 
Was adjusting the IP on a old Mares MR12 for workshop duties, can easily achieve 300psi IP. This reg will never see water again, dedicated to workshop use.
