The alternative is to use a small universal adapter like the one from Target that I posted above, and no power strips. If you need multiple outlets you can use a 2nd adapter like this or Belkin mini which include surge protector.

Unfortunately, one Eneloop charger would eat up all the real estate on one of those. That is a very good option if I weren't traveling with so many battery chargers for camera and strobe batteries. I like the Belkin option though - perfect for a non-photo rig vacation. Thanks!

We just got back from God's Pocket (Vancouver Island) and had 3 power strips mostly full with a variety of battery chargers (cameras/strobes/video lights/heated vest batteries/phone/ipad/computer) but there are two of us there.

Not primarily diving vacations, but I've done month-long trips camping through Scotland/NZ and the USB power ports someone mentioned are perfect for personal electronics/usb charging items https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P936188?psc=1 I bought the 2- or 3-pin power cord that worked with the charger for the country before I left and was ready to go when I arrived. I wish I had bought a power strip to plug it into, like you are bringing. Some wonky current in NZ fried my USB charger, but it did protect everything that was plugged into it...

They're stupid heavy, but I bring an external battery usb charger because I'm not always around electricity. It's usually just for my phone/mp3 https://www.amazon.com/Anker-20000m...445739&sr=1-4&keywords=anker+external+battery

If you want to back up media, I've used a file hub https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Wir...=1504446070&sr=1-2&keywords=ravpower+file+hub It doesn't have onboard memory, it just allows you to transfer files from sd cards to an external drive using a phone app. But it's also a wifi bridge and has a small battery bank to charge things by usb. I've used it as a router for wifi if a place only offered plugin internet. Sometimes it's been worth carrying both it and the external drive, but it's a bit much most of the time :)

I am going with this one. Does anyone see anything wrong with this item before I buy one?

It's a converter - you might not need it if your devices that you are trying to charge already run in the range up to 240. Double check. Many already do. Depending on what you charge, the positioning of the outlets might not work. For example, my eneloop charger would cover two of those, leaving only one other open socket. If you don't need the converter, put the weight towards more outlets instead for the same weight. I really like that it has 4 USB chargers.

I think there is some misplaced concern about using voltage converters. MOST modern electronics from toothbrushes to computers to battery chargers to phone/ipads are dual voltage/frequency. They do not need a voltage converter only a plug adapter. A few items are voltage specific like electric razor chargers and hair dryers. For those a converter will be needed otherwise the blue smoke test will be passed. Otherwise a plug adapter is all you will need (and enough plugs for all of your chargers).
