JUNE 2010 in Cozumel!!

Are you planning for any diving for Cozumel ?? Since you are staying in Cancun and considering a Cancun Dive op, you may also like to post in the general Mexico thread. Prices have gone up. I booked my trip back in the first week of Feb. and since then prices have gone up 700.00 +. There must be a lot more tourists headed there this year. Last year, the longer you waited the cheaper it was. Last year I booked this same trip 30 days out and it was 400.00 less than I booked this year. Which would make it about 1100.00 cheaper than if you booked now. And last year I didn't even know about the orbitz.com discount. Park Royal was only about half full though. I think alot of that was because of the swine flu scare.

Yup ... the prices have been hopping. We booked our airfare back in September for $320 pp. Right now it's $711 pp, but it's gone as high as $900 right at the end of March. Crazy!! I'm SO glad we booked early!!

I only booked my trip a month ago, but I got airfare and 7 nights @ Hotel Coz, AI, for $575 from Orbitz using the coupon. I never do AI, but for that price I couldn't turn it down, especially when air alone was gonna cost me over $400. I'll eat breakfast and lunch there and drink a few beers and get my money's worth.

That is a fantasic price for an AI. If I hadn't already booked mine I would take that in an instant. My wife always wants to do AI.

Don't leave us off the list! My husband and I are coming June 16-23. Bringing the two certified grandsons (14 year old open water and 17 year old Rescue diver). Staying at Iberostar(no boo's please )... the four of us got a great deal. Diving With Martin. Have been busy replacing the grandkid's bottles of sunblock lotion with skunk oil to repell all the girls, and purchasing myself bottles of Aspirin to avoid all the headaches I'm anticipating.
