How accurate is the air pressure gauge on the Mares Puck Air. I guess what I am asking is what is the gauge displaying. If for example my air is full (80cu ft HP Steel) 3442 psi will the Puck Air report 3442 or will it round? (3440 or 3445 for example)? Also at very low pressure does it have trouble getting an accurate reading. I hooked it to my take last night to test it and was getting a reading of about 430 psi but it would jump to 390 psi. Should I be concerned?
    Thanks,
    Chris

Sorry, I didn't see this. The Puck Air should be accurate down to very low pressure. Did you buy from a dive store? Can you take it in to compare to another? What is B.t.t.t.?

Yes I will try it with a full tank and standard SPG. I was just curious if there was any specific tech info on the accuracy. B.T.T.T.=Bring Thread To Top. I wanted to make sure you saw it since I saw that you had replied to other threads in the same time frame. Thanks for responding by the way.

I have a Mares Puck Air Integrated. I have been diving now for a week in Cozumel and it has not given me a single safety stop. 11 dives all below 30 feet. It does work very well when into deco, but not otherwise.

The most obvious source of error is of course that I have not found a specific setting. I have read through the manual and it doesn't seem like it can be turned on and turned off. All my dives were deeper than 30 ft. Every time my Oceanic Veo 180 which I have as backup automatically went into safety stop. (And yes, of course I still did a safety stop)

Thus, I'm starting to think there may be something wrong with the unit.

    Any other ideas? Zak OHara?
Thanks for any help or insight (even if it would illuminate basic errors I may have made in setting the unit up!)

Hi, sorry for the delay, I've been away from this board for a while. I do not believe you can physically disable the safety stop functionality of the computer. If it is not offering you a safetystop, then I suggest you take it to a local dealer for a warranty examination. So far the Pucks have proven to be a very reliable computer with little issues. We can't examine over the internet, so again we need you to take to the dealer. I hope this helps answer your question.

    Hello everyone,
I just purchased a mares puck air and was wondering if anyone could confirm something for me. When I configure the altitude setting I have the following available values under setmode -> alt:.
    alt: 0000
    alt: 296
    alt: 4921
    alt: 7874

I think the 296 is an error and should be 2296. Does anyone else see the same on their console?

My firmware version is FW:01000. Is there a newer firmware to fix this?

How concerned should I be about this?
