How To Select Easy Inexpensive Dry Gloves for Scuba Divers
šŸ§¤
Wonder if there's a commercial product or 3D print. How could one best cut/smooth/bevel edges going PVC pipe route?
The ones Jill is showing in the video are actually cut from an ABS pipe connector. They had to be turned down a little to get the correct inside diameter. I have also made them from a PVC pipe connector but they need to be heated and stretched over a mandrel, I used a clay wine cooler. The 3d printed ones were not as good but I think I gave Jill a pair of those as well. I came up with the idea a few years ago and Jill saw me using them on a trip to Newfoundland that we were on together.
I rounded the edges while it was still on the lathe with sandpaper while it was turning.
I christened them Glove Buddies.
