Just installed new kit pressurized @ 148 after 100 cycles down to spec 140 should it be good or does more cycling help I've heard that it can take 500 to stable holds steady 140 for over an hour . think I'm good?

Yes, probably a bad overhaul or wrong seat....seat had fallen out of shaft just replaced with a new one and all new orings ScubaPro kit. how would a seat fall out bad overhaul?
Here is my concern. As the MK2 is an unbalanced piston first stage, the IP naturally drops in concert with the tank pressure (supply pressure.) Therefore it is quite possible you are still slightly over spec at max tank pressure-you won't know until you hook it up to a full tank. However, it is not WAY over and will not harm anything. It's just that when one rebuilds a reg it should be set to within specs.3000 start 2400 ending
