Yes, this happened a couple of years ago. This DM used to feed sausages to the Moray! This incident was reported in the Phuket Gazette and upon the news the immigration officials decided to visit him in hospital to find out whether this guy had a work permit. Needless to say.....?

What an absolute grade-A muppet.
as previously mentioned several times, what an idiot (for both feeding and touching the eel). my buddy volunteers at an aquarium and says you shouldn't even touch eels (or really anything else underwater) as they have a mucosal layer that protects them.
