There is nothing worse than seeing one of your posts with a spelling error and not being able to do anything about it.......stupid auto carrot!!
 
We English speakers want to pronounce "Mares" as though it referred to female horses.
 
Dive, Dived, Dived as in SCUBA diving. Dive, Dove, Dove as in off of a diving board. ??????
 
I think it may be "daud", actually. Or at least some pronounce it that way. :whistling:
 
It’s “le chaim”. Not lehaim.

I keep forgetting them English can't pronounce half the sounds and can't spell the ones they can pronounce. Of course it's lechaim. Also chumus, chijab, and chalal. Or is it khummus?
