I purchased the DRIS BP/W when it was on sale last week for 279 bucks. I am just wanting to know if it is appropriate for my diving?

I am 6' 205lbs. I normally use a 3 mil in the gulf in the summer, and a 5 mil at other times in the gulf. When I go to the springs I will be in my 5mil farmer john and jacket. Is this setup appropriate for me and my diving? It is a SS backplate, hogarthian harness, ss Sta, and a 28lb wing.

Thanks.

you'll be fine. May need a few pounds of weight in the 5mill farmer john, but it's a great size wing for what you're doing

That's exactly what I wanted to hear, thanks for the help.

Sounds like a perfect combo to me. Probably a few lbs for Aluminum tanks and maybe zero weights with steel tanks. I use a steel Deep Sea Supply plate and rarely use weights.
