I bought it mostly for SoCal diving, with a drysuit, so I have a large wing. I bought my son one, too, with (I think) a 26 lb wing. I think I have the 35, I can't remember now.

Anyway, we can (a) keep the dive bag under 50 lbs when we travel, even with the SS b/p's, and (b) we can, with a full 3-mil wetsuit, only use 6 lbs on a belt. Nice! That's perfect, IMO, for ditching anyway if you needed to.

Yeah, my wing's way too big for tropical diving, but who cares? It's not really noticeable, and to buy another wing, well, if I was really diving 50/50 or quit diving cold and stayed exclusively warm, I'd consider it. Otherwise, why bother?

diving a drysuit, with a weezle extreme plus, requires me to wear 28 lbs PLUS the b/p, and that's the right size wing for that. It's a compromise in the strictest sense of the word for warm water, but I can't notice any problems.

I had the long talk with Tobin, too, before I bought it. It's an eye-opener. The gear is top-quality. I couldn't be happier, and please understand I've flamed more than my share of manufacturers/retailers for stupid stuff. Tobin builds it, he backs it, and he makes sure you're buying what you need. A trifecta, IMO.
The price isn't bad, either.
