Regulator Inspection and Checklist (Rev-7)

It is worth the read to inform you how to do a good check on your reg to know when you have a service issue.

Thanks couv.

Thanks, Bob! Planning on doing a pool check with my new equipment and this is definitely useful for checking my new reg. Taking a look at the new regulator I don't see any signs of use, but it will be great to be able to monitor them thoroughly myself.

BTW, does anyone know the expected IP of the Aqualung Titan?

This gauge will save you a couple of dollars to put towards your bp/w.

The purge feature on the deluxe gauge is not necessary. Purging your second stage accomplishes the same thing. I take a gauge with me on local dives, and when traveling. If servicing your own regs is something that might interest you, Titan kits are easily purchased, and will be around for a long time.

$8 bucks for the gauge and $15 bucks to ship it.

$18 bucks on Amazon if you have free shipping.http://www.amazon.com/Scuba-Choice-...4&sr=8-2&keywords=intermediate+pressure+gauge

if you're up near oakland, take it over to jim steele's shop. chances are there will be nothing wrong with it. he sometimes has the IP gauges in stock too.

anywater sports down in saratoga will look at regs too for a small fee.

when the time comes, you can get trident parts to rebuild the titan since its such an old design.
