There is another one happened yesterday.

Bundaya 19 from Koh Lipe to Koh Lanta.
73 passengers and 4 crews were all rescued

Not sure if "Bundaya 19 " and "Bundhaya speed boat" is related.
But they are all plying the same route.
Yes they are the same

Some news articles mention different numbers onboard than others for the same boat, but then there were different boating incidents. I think that boating incidents are so common there that they don't pay attention to details.

It s is probably quite common but 4 incidents within such a short period and all involving tourists! That must be some kind of record.

Happened last yr.

If "Bundaya 19" is indeed one of the "Bundhyaya Speedboat" fleet plying the route between Koh Lanta and Koh Lipe. Then those poor tourists could had lost everything they got with them. And if they did not manage to savage some of their valuables especially money and passport then they probably have nothing to pay for everything for the remaining days in the Kingdom. Some consulate officials would have their holiday cut short in order to deal with the emergency.

It's not they don't pay attention to details in the Thai press but often different spokesmen say different things and a lot gets lost or mixed-up in translation between Thai and English language media. Happens all the time here on many news stories.

Speed boat to Koh Lipe is the only option because there is NO proper pier on the island.
This video was allegedly taken in Nov 2023 and weather was really unpredictable from blue sky to thunderstorm within few hrs.

I am afraid it is in Thai.
This is about Bundhaya 19 and apparently all personal belongings had been retrieved.

Koh Lipe is tiny and anyone should be able to tell if the weather is ok to travel. Unfortunately, most tourists do not have time to hang around and wait for the weather to clear.
