Just got it and trying it out tomorrow in shallow water to get the trim weighting correct! Infinity system with 40lb eclipse wing! and 6lb SS back plate. After seeing both the 30lb and 40lb wings next to each other inflated, there really is no reason to get the 30. They have nearly the same hydrodynamics and are the same cost.

It looks nice, but I'd replace with HP hose with something shorter and swap out the console for a plain SPG. You can add a bolt-snap to attach it to the left hip D-ring. That way it won't be dangling, and you can just glance at your wrist for your depth and time.

For my setup, it actually seems to be the perfect length. I sometimes sling an AL40 on my left side and the console can clip to the crotch D-ring perfect. I might go to a shorter hose eventually, i want to use it a little and see. As far as an SPG replacement, i also use a wrist computer for redundancy. I would rather have an SPG and 2 computers than 1 computer.

Needless drag. If your computer should fail (infinitesimal chance) the dive gets thumbed...

Love the console. Mine is bigger and I clip it to my right shoulder.
I suppose that may suggest I may not be inadequate elsewhere.

You have a hole in your reg.

Yes:D. I was actually figuring out which port was best for my backup second stage. I actually had to go with a 24 inch hose instead of 22 as well.

I was also told the oceanic computers are prone to water intrusion. (i actually know of 2 who each had VEO 250s this happened to) Mine has been good thus far. I'm going to upgrade to a better setup when the funds become available. I like the idea of having the computer on the wrist, it's just when you are dealing with speared fish and sticking your hands in holes, the computer tends to suffer severely.
