Yes the 5' was just ran loos under my arm. Why it was always puling I don't know but after fighting with it for the close to a year I gave it up and went back to the 7' and have had no problems since. I'm not a big guy and I was fighting with it whether I was in a drysuit with my heaviest undergarments or in just a t shirt.
