Is it underwater or above waterThe swim is just a swim. Relax and swim, whatever stroke or combination of strokes you want to do.

Okay, thanksAbove water
I agree on the training, it'd help with confidence too. Also I'm taking private lessons so I can't use that trick sadly lmao. Pretty sure I'd be able to make it without dying or stopping...I'm gonna go to my local Y and see how far I can swimThere is no time limit for the swim. It's usually 200 yards but I think it can be 300 with mask/fins/snorkel (way easier). It's very difficult for the instructor to count the exact number of pool laps when there is a large class, so just kind keep with the group. Don't stop, touch bottom-- as long as you finish and don't die you pass. But, it's a good idea to get a little swim training anyway-- something I think everyone who does anything in water too deep to stand in should have.
Thank you. I need to relax lol.@kay_ann
I have some instructions for you to follow.
Step 1. Make a class of herbal tea
Step 2. Sit down and put your feet up.
Step 3. Breath from your diaphragm a few nice slow deep breaths.
Step 4. Enjoy the tea, relax you will do just fine in your class and even have fun.
