Bend the fin and look at the hinge(?). That's where mine started to crack. Be sure to check both sides.

Spring straps on Novas?

Maybe he means bungee? I catch myself calling them spring from time to time.

Spring straps on Novas?

Sorry, I have been using the aeris straps so long I forgot the Novas came with bungees and not spring straps. Anyway, I like the aeris straps on these fins. Just personal preference.
