Howdy...
Well, kids are mostly grown and I decided to dust off that old gear, have it re-checked and get wet again!! Of course, the suit seems to have tightened up (doesn't stretch like it used to!) and I need a new mask, and a lot of this and that, but I am excited to be actually gearing up again. Hello to all, the Board seems like a wonderful resource and I am enjoying reading the different threads immensely. Thanks for having me.

Sledgehammer, this sounds very exciting for you to be diving again. How long is it since you did your last dive?

Are your "old" buddies still diving these days?

Ha! Perhaps one...Fortunately I am on a local police department (45 officers) where we have six to eight younger guys who dive. Seeing them gear up and go out kind of sparked my interest again. And since we live on the coast of Maine, "Why not??"
It has been about 12 years or so since my last dive. Little cool to dive here right now--four feet of standing snow--but within a few short weeks the weather will warm considerably.
