13cf/lb is about right :) I get a bit loopey in the evening sometimes and my fingers don't do the walking all that accurately :)

Anyone that says ALU80's (even doubled) is "enough gas for a dive" doesn't do the kind of diving we do!!!

"Enough Gas" mean nothing.

Sure, strap on 30lbs of lead with an ALU80 and dry suit.....OR.........as Genesis says, place the weight in the tank and stop wearing 3 weight belts :)

30lbs is some kind of heavy weight belt!!!!
 
We wear 60lbs... Not a rec or tech dive though.... Sometimes as much as 80lbs...

Except for the weight of air. I got mine from my CRC Handbook of Chemisty and Physics, and trust me, it's about 13cf per pound.

This also coincides with the more accurate cylinder swings published.

.08 lb/cf x 13 cf =1.04 lb
