I am looking into getting a strobe for my 8000G and have narrowed it down to the ys-110A or another brand (which shall remain nameless 
).
Will I be able to use all the features available on this strobe with my camera? I mainly shoot close up and macro... have been taking underwater pics for 20 years and don't expect to start shooting wide angle now.

Since I have had this camera since it was introduced I will most likely be upgrading it next year. The thing I like best about it is the amazing battery life!! Can go 3 dives on the same battery!
