HI all
if you were to permanently move to europe, would it be possible to take your e7's with you? I mean, will dive shops fill them, and is it possible to get them hydroed and viz'd over there? anyone got any experience with that?

Leave them at home. Different regulatory standards are used and they do not recognize DOT approved cylinders.

My E8-130s aren't TC (Transport Canada) stamped.. only DOT stamped. Shops in Canada won't even fill them.. if I take them to Europe they'll probably laugh at me.

That's exactly what they would do.
We have different standards so there is no point in dragging them all the way.

that's what i was afraid of, ah well, it's not going to happen for a while yet, so i may as well dive the hell out of them!!

Beside the fact that there is very little sense in doing it as steel tanks in Europe are much more reasonably priced than in North America.

When you get ready to find them a new home, I have plenty of room in my garage for them.

it'll be a while, this is just something i thought of last night, it's a great way of not wanting to buy any more tanks!!!
