[*]your worst day stuck on the surface wishing you were underwater is still better than your best day stuck underwater wishing you were on the surface

After 20 dives you formulate a plan to save money to take a trip to Bonaire, Cozumel, etc.

Soooo true!

And...

--Wetsuit tans look funny :p
-- Wall dives are fun
-- If your weight integrated BC won't hold air, chest deep water is not shallow enough to take it off for inspection!

If you are preocupied and don't watch your depth your good dive buddy will hopefully find your inflater and take you to the top to talk.

Plastic clips sometimes get the tab on the outside of the hood and giant strides can unhook and drop a $90 light that you can not find later.

Dry suits need more weight to get under water than your wetsuit

Dry suits should not be worn with bare feet

Tank holding ropes go on after the regulator :dork2:

Put your dive tool on your leg after you put on the top half of the farmer john

Experimenting and finding proper weight placement makes dive life easier, uses less air

Practice makes you better.

Always dive within your certification level.

Log your dives.

Service your gear yearly.

Dive Often.

Act locally think globally.

Psssst . . . I learned ginger snaps do not contain ginger. :)

Just depends upon the brand of ginger snap. Some do, some don't.

I wish I was taught this in my OW or AOW classes. It makes life so much easier

I do not have any rings on that side in the chest area. Have you ever tried to add extra rings to your BCD?

You're going to lose your knife

Snot is part of diving

Make sure your tank strap is really tight

Deeper isn't better
