$10 for a 2 tank trip.

If the DM is great, funny, helps me tick something off my bucket list, or totally saves my a**, then I usually thank them personally and let them know that the first $10 is for the crew, and whatever else is because of their service and they may do with it what they will.
 
I seldom dive in Canada (WWW). But if there's a shop DM taking you out, then tipping would likely be in order. If you are just part of a group that rotates who leads the dive, then no.

Agreed. If I'm going on a club dive with a shop, I'll tip the DM, especially since tanks are usually free.
