What kind of wetsuit needed fro diving around Durban

Hi, just wondering how thick a wetsuit is needed to dive around Durban and Aliwal Shoals. My wife and I will be diving there over the next couple of weeks. We have 3/2 wetsuits (3 mm around body core, 2 mm other parts), and I wonder if I should take those. If I really need something thicker, I'll have to rent, so taking these may just be wasted space in the luggage. Thanks for any advice.
