holding a camera!

Amen brother..........Cameras solve a lot of 'problems'---but----not if you're a newbie, then-----.......

Myself, compliments of Dick Howe, RIP my good (dive)buddy---diving The Tibbetts, Cayman Brac 2011....:

Arms crossed in front, left hand holding right elbow, right hand relaxed against my ample belly.

Left hand clasping right wrist. Near chest

I usually have them folded across my chest. My left arm cradling my console and left hand holding the knife that hangs from my harness.

Another vote for holding my camera... I don't leave shore without it

Lobster snare in one hand, game bag in the other, hands at my side or in front

Holding my P&S camera or in front of me or clasped or hooked on my BC.

Anywhere I want them, it's my dive. To add to the above posts, there is the North Coast low viz and surge hands extended in front to fend off any boulder that jumps up in front of you position.
