Well.... I'm absolutely, positively sure that this will NEVER EVER, in a million years, happen... but... if I could see all the following in ONE dive, it would be the best dive ever!! Please keep in mind that I'm landlocked and very, very rarely get to dive the ocean! (Like, next month I'll get to dive the ocean again... haven't been able to in 9 years!) One can dream, right??

Beautiful Blue water with unlimited visibility... as far as the eye could see...
Whale shark
Humpback whale with calf
Sea turtles
Manta
Monk Seals
Orca (at a safe distance... whatever that is!
Manatee
School of sharks
Goliath Grouper
Seahorses

That's not asking too much is it??? LOL

OK - I get that its cold, but I also get that its a rare diver indeed who gets the opportunity to see that. Beyond diving there, I want to go to space and do a space walk!

What is the one dive that would be too great to even be true?....and your runner-up.

Okay...I don't know Chris Bangs, but his whale shots of the new baby calf..blew my mind. To do that and have a camera...that would be "it" for me.

Our Spitting Caves on a day with great viz and playful monk seals ....is due anytime again now, and I could settle for that.

Wrecks.

The Doria is on the list. Not because its the best wreck dive, but just because its the Doria. Might look at 2008 for that one.

Finding the U-190 and the Esquimalt is on the list too. We will try for those in 2007.

So that means in 2008 I will have to redo my Dream Dive list

I would kill to dive antartica. Trying to convince wifey that once we get the boat to Aussie land, it's only 4 inches further to AA. I want to see a Medusa jelly fish! Anyone catch the pic in last months Dive Alert mag? WOW! It is one of my top destination choices.

I would love to see a blue whale or a sperm whale. I wouldn't care if I had a camera or not, the experience would be out of this world!

Oh, and a giant squid if I knew it wouldn't eat me.

I second the Antartica vote. I'd love to dive Shackelton's Endurance down there. It may be a little too chilly for some of my FL dive buddies. If they went with though, they may actually see me wear more than just a shorty!

Okay, someone else hit on this, but it's on my fantasy list, too.

I'd like to be swimming with dolphins and an occassional manta in clear, beautiful, 80 degree water when I suddenly came upon the Atocha's previously undiscovered sister ship...

Hey, it's my dream and I can do anything I like with it!!!
