Quick safety note while diving Bonaire. Kite surfers are infringing on dive sites as far north as Tori's Reef. Be very careful if you see any in the area because they will not watch out for you, and come right up to shore at extremely high speeds.

Good point. The Matava resort has said that it suffered no damage, but I don't know how to confirm damage to the islands or this particular reef system. Certainly others were hit hard, i.e., Rainbow Reef and Taveuni.
