Advice for Warrnambool diving asap please

For work I will be in Warrnambool this feb and march.
I am hoping on getting some dives in. (Provided I get enough time off work.)


Can anybody give me some advice on local conditions.

Particularly:
- Water temperature between feb and march. (Which suit to take.)
- Good dive shops for rental of tanks and nitrox?
- Good dive shops for guided dives?
- Anybody willing to show me some local dives?
- Advice on dive sites not to miss?

I was going to dive there once but had a massive hangover so i couldnt dive.

As far as I recall there was only one or two shore dives there and you needed good conditions to do them (doesn't happen that often) ... As that coast is called the shipwreck coast there is some boat diving there. There used to be two dive shops in Warrnambool, by the looks of things there still is plus a few others close by.

From what i have been told yes, but that isnt in Warnambool!

I am staying in Warrnambool, but I have transportation, so occassional further away trip is possible.
