That's exactly the package I'm hoping to get. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it after you get it all in the water.

I just got the package today and I have to say my initial impression is very good. The BPW is nice and seems very solid and the regulator set seems to be very good quality. I hooked it up to a tank and it breaths very well. I’m hoping to get some underwater time next weekend. I will not be using the computer so I’ll be selling it.

I agree w Boltsnap, BP/w , which I currently dive , very overrated! Cheap jacket, easy to pack, no effect on my trim buoyancy or enjoyment
I hope I won't regret asking this, but why would you dive an "overrated" BP/W if you prefer a jacket style BCD?

hence the last part of my signature
What does this do?

Probably because he got bullied and mislead by the extremist BP/Wvangelists here on SB at the beginning but now his common sense caught up with him and saw through the misleading dogmatic shackles that blinded him and finally saw the light of the truth but is stuck with the BP/W gizmo?
I'm curious for their answer.

It only hides.comments. it doesn't prevent someone responding to your comments with nonsense.. As seen above. That'd be the first person I'd block. I've done it on FB. I'd love to do it here.

I’m currently trying to sell my halcyon eclipse! Very little interest! Thanks

I Since I’m not planning to do tech, do you think it’s a wise move for me to jump into a backplate or would I be better served with a back inflate?

I’d be able to answer this myself if I could try a back plate system out but I’m limited to trying what the shops use and rent.
It's not like it's a big jump. You seem to have answered your own question already. With the way you're thinking if you buy a standard BC you'll be "upgrading" within 6 months. Save yourself some money and the board some aggravation.
