I hate to say it...but it depends on what kind of diving you are doing and what you need.

I have 4
1) Omega Seamaster Chrono (mechanical watch) Expensive but you can use the chronograph underwater.
2) Luminox Navy Seal Chrono...not expensive, but can't use the chrono feature underwater because the buttons are not pressure sealed for operation underwater.
3) Citizen Solar powered. Tracks depth, dive time, temperature, and has depth and time alarms...nice...but no stop watch function for deco stops.
4) Casio Sea Pathfinder - tracks depth and dive time and has a stop watch function for deco stops....probably the one I use the most. Basically a bottom timer with stop watch and some added functions.

I've been looking at this, too. Amazon.com has their guideline chart that pretty much states any watch with less than a WR 300m should not be used for scuba. Reading through this topic, my guess is this is to cover their bottoms on the warranty and liability issues. Basically, if we buy a WR 200m or WR 100m rated watch, take it diving, and it fails, we can't return it as defective, nor can we sue for any problems that occurred because we lost track of the time.

FWIW, Amazon has an Invicta Dive watch for an additional 40% off this weekend. The linked page lists it at $118, but the ad I received from them says it will drop to under $71 at check-out until August 18th.

Not sure if it's any good or not, but that price sure had me looking.
