you are correct about the outsized Lobzilla's at Brant Rock!! make sure you watch your fingers with those oldtimers. Seems to me Brant is full of shorts and outsizers. But like you said full to look at.

I have experienced those nasty swells you speak of; dive-buddy and I were tossed around pretty hard until we called it after 10 minutes or so.

thanks for the info john! you said that it's best under west winds? From my shore diving experience most of the south coast is not very diveable under Northeast Winds.

Yup, NE is the worst and west is the best. Ideally you want it to scream west for a few days and then lay down. That will lead to great vis.

I love High Pines, but there's way too many anglers out there come mid-summer, unless you can get ther mid-week at the crack of dawn.
yeah all and all not bad, ill explore it a bit more.
its a good spot to get a OW diver so experence.
im using that area to get a friend a little bottom time logged.
