I see what you're saying, but you may have overlooked that I offered a similar solution (adding more leg insulation, since he's already using two pairs of socks). I probably buried my statement in excess verbiage.... a bad habit of mine. :)

I read the leg insulation partof your advice, which I completely agree with.
I was just pointing out that your other advice of adding more lead and gas isn't the solution he's looking for, as he is already doing that, in a way, and is not a solution, just a bandaid that makes a less-than-ideal gear setup "kind-of" work.
