I almost offered the busboy at Blue Heaven $40 for his dirty wooly cap but decided it was too much money. I wouldn't normally spent that much money on a cap. It went like this: After looking in just about every shop in Key West I finally found one trendy clothing store that had two "high fashion" beanies for sell. Without looking at the price I handed over my credit card and purchased the one that looked warmest. I picked up the other cap off the counter and exclaimed, "Holy s***, this is $55?!?! The saleswoman handed me the receipt, pointed to the "No refunds" sign, and said, "Yes, but the one you just bought was $75."
End of threadjack. To the OP, if you're transplanting from CA to FL you probably already own a drysuit or 7ml. That will be fine for diving right now. Everyone on board our boat was very envious of our DM who was wearing a drysuit.
