how do you mount a canister light on tanks

I've never seen anyone tank mount a light can, but if you really have your heart set on it, you could try a pony tank mount. Firemedic1015's idea is good too.
 
The wreckers in the NE use stainless steel hose clamps and D-ring holders, then use clips . Check out NE scuba supply. However, this is not a recommended method to attach a light.
 
Why don't you like the canister on your waist. Just wondering.

Don't you think that having them on your tanks gives the canister greater exposure to potential collision damage in and out of water?
