Things have been a little slow around here. So lets get a little debate going. This usually leads to temper flares but hey that is what makes it so great.

You dont have doubles for reasons aren't important here.
Your wearing a regular BC. not a wing and back plate configuration.
You got a alum40cf Luxefer Tank. 1st and 2nd stage doesnt matter.

How would you carry it?
slung in front of you with the I think it is the dive rite sling.

Or with the pony brackets? That strap to your Main Air supply.
Also you will be using this for Boat dives.
what configuration would you want for easiest use and ease of switching out for dive two.

In the past, I've just used a strap to attach to a d-ring at my shoulder, and another to connect to the base of my tank.

Just be careful to unhook from the d-ring before getting out of the water. I wripped one off . . . .

The Anderson sling is pretty much the standard these days.

My vote ... sling it. Nothing like having the bottle right there and accessible. Very easy to keep an eye on it.

I rig it this way:

DIR-diver.com - Stagebottle rigging

The parts cost maybe $30 and you can make the sling in less than an hour.
