Gary D.:
I gave in to the coaxing from my wife to do something I have had no interest in doing.

After we did it she told me to resist her if she ever got the urge again.

We wasted a couple of hours watching the poorly done low grade “B” Movie “Open Water”.

Should we head for the chamber?

Gary D.
Marriage requires such stupid actions sometimes. I've been single for over 30 years. :D

Just go diving ASAP and carry a sausage and storm whistle.

Heck, a tether to the dive boat seems reasonable if you don't want to take along your entire GEAR LOCKER!!!

"Hey Captain - there's something splashing in the water 100 feet behind us. We may be dragging something...?!"
Jay_SMART_Diver:
...and a signal mirror, and dye marker, flare gun....
A dive whistle and a Dive Alert horn is reduntant, which is why I wear both.

The lesson I came away with was this:

"Don't go diving on a cattle boat if you have a really good SAC rate." :D

Well...that and

"Just because a movie is about SCUBA diving, doesn't mean it is going to be enjoyable"

I liked it. Hey, it had diving, and a naked girl.

Budget; $130,000
Gross; $59,000,000
Not counting DVD sales
Must have done something right.

Welcome to hell, please keep your hands inside the car at all times.

I am sorry you suffered like that. I am glad you made it out OK. Maybe this thread should be moved to the Accidents and Incidents forum. This could save a lot other divers pain and suffering.
