The issue is your poll doesn't cover all options. The subtext of the 5/4 is that it's great for Hawaii, but most here don't consider it to be ideal for Coz. The 3mm, OTOH, is great for Coz but too cool for repetitive diving in Hawaii.

I know, I just wasnt sure how to word a poll to cover all the options. I know it's impossible to get one wetsuit for all conditions, I just want to make the best decision considering the $ involved.

Thanks for the feedback.

I think the poll sorta speaks for itself despite the narrow parameters. I have as I said the 3mm seal and while I think it's a great suit I am also thinking about adding a core warmer/vest and a hood. For the price you quoted at the start the 5/4 fusion seems like a great deal. I find that winter temps although only slightly lower at times in the carribbean seem much cooler after a few dives a day. If you are prone to chill anyway then go for the little extra neoprene and live with the extra weight. It seems to me that cooling off underwater is easier than trying to heat up. If you need something lighter for warmer diving the investment tends to be minimal over buying a warmer suit down the road. I do have to say that the Pinnacle neck seal is one of the better I've seen and the suit construction in my case is of a very high standard. Good luck with whichever you choose.
