I'd say go with your gut and give it a miss.It sounds like 'dirty-old man fishing' to me and in all reality you already had the right instincts to be wary of it.You'll be successful at whatever you do on your own efforts without needing stuff like this in your life.Be Safe.

If you don't want to, don't
If you want to do a dive video, check the guy out. If he has a script, soundtrack, that's on the right track. You can (and should) check references. More importantly , ask to speak to the others working on the video crew, other cast especially the people putting the money up. Check with his solicitor. Ask to see examples of his work. If he doesn't have all this, either he is serious but hasn't planned it out (Bad sign but fixable) or he is bogus (Really bad sign)

Just do a bit of background checking, try to figure out if this guy is what he says he is than if you feel like it go.
You can also go with a friend if you want to.

IT? Wow I definately would avoid this now. Usually when someone becomes and it, the story gets really ugly.

But liquid is right this could be totally legit and you could have a chance to be a star and have fun doing so.

I can't help being a worry wart, I love scary movies and my mind is like the worst of all, because I have seen so many. BTW: Jeepers Creepers isn't too bad for a scary movie.

Begin With a Review and a FRIEND...

You know, I am a highly respected person in my community (No laughing, ID), and I am even a Boy Scout Leader as well. Of anyone, I would consider "myself" beyond reproach or question. With that in mind, I WOULD NEVER ASK A YOUNG LADY TO GO DIVING WITH ME WITHOUT ASKING HER TO BRING AN ESCORT. Film, or no film. Call me prudish, call me old fashioned, but I would never put another human through the misery of trying to figure out my motives. Do everything in the open and there can be no questions.

In the Scouts, we have a concept called "two deep" which has nothing to do with diving. It means that there are ALWAYS at least two adults (or more) in the presence of a minor. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is this rule to be compromised. Whenever we send a boy to run an errand on a campout, or let him go hiking HE HAS TO HAVE A BUDDY. It only makes sence and its safe. In the same way, never go diving without an escort YOU know and trust. People who have ulterior motives do NOT like company. They want to crawl under a rock like a cockroach when the light hits them. Your buddy is your light.

We can't weigh all of the variables for you... you're a grown woman and we believe in your ability to make the right decision. Just please be careful... we want to read your posts for a LONG time to come!
