yes, but it makes no difference. just make sure when you go diving it reads 0 or "surface" or whatever it's supposed to say

it makes no difference if it goes pressurized or unpressurized, though they reccomend pressurized. note they don't mandate it. although, do look for that info on your particular model's handbook, as it may void the warranty if they mandate that you carry the computer pressurized.

when I fly and look at my computer it shows altitude( of course) so since the ambient pressure is less you are off gassing. Then when you land you have DESCENDED so you are not at zero but actually are "on a dive" ONGASSING. Those who said you land at zero should reconsider this point


this is way wrong, sorry

the computer can tell when you are BELOW surface pressure, and it calculates dives based on time spent BELOW surface pressure. you will never be "ongasing"
as far as the computer is concerned until it detects you are below surface pressure.

your computer is never going to be below surface pressure while on the plane

(well... you hope.... :wink:)
