Oceanic Alpha 7 humming

Just completed first dive with new reg. Oceanic Aplpha 7 with PX2 1st stage. Halfway through the dive at 70' it started humming when I inhaled and kept doing so for the rest of the dive. Is this normal?

I have that reg and mine was humming after about 10 dives. It was recalled last fall. After it went in for service I've had no problems. Check to see if your reg was part of the recall.

I used this reg last weekend with an SP4 1st stage and they worked great. This reg breathes very well, easy to clean, and maintain. Depths to 62', temp around 62 F.

The reg is out of balance and needs to be serviced soon.

According to my lds that sells oceanic line, the humming is not critical but can be adjusted out zeN||
