Yeah was one long boat ride, the wreck itself is still in reasonable good shape, starting to show its age underwater in some spots. Prop and for the most part most the ship still very recognizable in shape. Vis on the day was low for the area, but have been told its normally the best vis in Qatar with up to 10 meters. Only issue with Qatar vis is awful at the best of times3 hours?? I'd need a nap after this ride.
How was vis down at wreck?
@Edward3cSo managed to get back in the water after bad weather had called off a few evening dives. Trip with the local BSAC branch to what is called Othemans reef, an ok little reef that is slowly growing back now. Vis was less than 3 meters at times so that was rubbish.
Ended up having to skip the second dive due to equipment gremlins, but managed to resolve that (AI playing silly bugger). Due to the vis the dives ended being a reef clean up by the Doha Sub Aqua Club with a huge amount of ghost fishing gear being removed. 14 divers, couple of families and a good day out all in all
