Congrats! DM is the next step and is even more of a challenge.

Rescue has a value, Master is just an accumulation of specialties that get you a patch. DM is the first step into the PADI Pro world. If you never intend to try to make a living with diving you prolly won't want to do it. Everyone has a different route and reason for doing it. Good Luck!

Just completed my rescue course a few weeks ago...as a relatively new diver, gives new meaning to being a conscientious diver.

Congrats to all the new Rescue divers. I totally agree with the previous posts - probably one of the best courses you'll take. You really learn to watch your dive buddies and other divers nearby.
