I thought it looked quite good and was really fun to re-live the dive (and see things that I might not have noticed at the time).

That's the joy in shooting: being able to re-live the fun later.

We finally got out there this past Sunday. Area has a lot of structure, including some nice relief. Didn't find the arch, but we were mostly straight out from the stairs and didn't explore too far to the north. Unfortunately, visibility wasn't great (10' decent, 15' iffy). The stairs back up are a bit brutal, but was worth checking out for sure. The beach itself is also gorgeous.

1,000 Steps is my favorite Laguna site. Leopard sharks seem to love hanging out near the underwater arch on the north side of the beach.
