Thanks, Jan!

I've been trying to convince her (maybe a little too hard). Sort-of a long story...

My wife did the open water dives for her cert. dive back in 1973 or so on a freezing winter's day in Corona Del Mar. I guess the surf was pretty rough and, when she finally got in, exhausted, she saw a single, lonely fish.

Fast forward to 6 or 7 years ago when I got certified (and she got recertified). She told me quite clearly "no cold water diving and no shore diving."

I've gotten her to go back on the cold water diving thing -- we've done Catalina a few times (in fact, we're going out on the Magician this weekend) -- but she really prefers the tropics. We did Casino Point once (sort-of a shore dive) and things did not go well. I think I got a little too enthusiastic when I tried to convince her to do this Wrinkles dive and I kind-of ticked her off.

I think I'll just come down and have a wonderful time. If I get comfortable enough, I'll take some underwater pix. The more I relate to her how much I enjoyed the experience and the more I show her the cool stuff I saw, the better chance she'll want to come down for future dives. I guess the next on is just down the street from us! Now, if it just doesn't get too cold...

It has been too long since my last Wrinkles dive. I will be there if I don’t get called to work.

Sniff... chances are slim that I'll make this one. Heisler next month will probably be a go though.

Will be diving some (? all!) of the days the SB MOF group is out here of course.

I'd love to but I honestly don't know when I'll be heading home (besides, I'll be driving the mini). Maybe next time...

Well this MOF'ia chickie will be doing the Wrinkles Dive :14:

Ok everyone, I got the condements covered but I still don't see anyone buying MEAT! Mustard and bisquits may work for Carl, but I think a more filling filler is in order. I brought the MEAT last time Wrinkles was here and everyone seemed to enjoy my MEAT. Sharing your MEAT with others gives them a full belly and a good attitude so come on, step up!

T.

So going to get in trouble for this post. :eyebrow:

I'll share my meat...

Okay, so how much meat is appropriate? I'm thinking hamburger meat, maybe half turkey half beef (depending on what Albertsons has). We've got 12 people (I'm only one as my lovely wife is going to stay home for this one) so that makes, what, nine pounds? More? Less?

Sorry, I don't cook so I really have no clue about quantities, here...

Clueless in Laguna (aka Code Monkey)...

Please put JohnnySeko and I down for hotdogs, hamburgers, and the buns.

P.S. I know many may laugh at me but I have to say this. When I first joined SB, I noticed the Wrinkles thread and to be perfectly honest, I thought it was senior citizens gathering. I kind of thought it was a club or something. Remeber, I am not from the left coast so had never met or heard of Wrinkles so... Anyway, that is my story and I am sticking to it.

*You may laugh now*
