I'm a Fish!
As per this thread...

This thread is for everyone to post their images from this camera. It will be linked to a master list in the Sticky. Please make sure to include your settings and if you used any extra lenses or strobes. This is also the place for you to add your personal, summarized Pros & Cons. Discussions and questions go in separate threads, please!

Please make sure to attach, or better yet embed, some images as these threads are intended to be one stop resources. Please do also add links to your full galleries if you wish, so those who want to see more can easily find more images.

First, thanks to those who post here. I lurk and read alot, but rarely post, so here's my part for once!

Other than a few Cenote pics in May, and after 8mo of "family" use, this was my first ocean outing. It was a week-long live aboard in Turks & Caicos. 27 dives, and I took at least a couple shots on each. A total of 900-1000 pics, and almost an hour of video.

I'll put a couple images here, but there are more in my gallery.

Most are the original image reduced in size. A couple have cropping & minor adjustments and are noted. All taken with only the stock camera/housing and it's flash/diffuser. The images take a beating in the reduction of size from the ~4mb original, but it's a variety of scenes for reference.

Overall, I was quite happy with the setup. The modes & options most used are quick to access change. I was usually changing; macro, flash & level, f-stop, ISO. Like a phone, etc., you get quick at the stuff you use (sans-housing takes some re-adjustment). Even with the diffuser, the flash is still partially blocked by the lens barrel on the housing, leaving a shadow in the lower right. I'll deal with it as the price for a small package. Battery life was great, but recharge after flash was a bit slow. I can now say that I do like this setup better than my old Olympus, which took some good shots- but was comparitively huge, slow, and held ~70 pics.

I haven't fully sorted, or done any real edits, but I think I got at least a few keepers. With better operator skills and practices, I think I will get some great pictures with this combo. I really tried to get the blurred shark action shot, but I only have a couple "maybe's" from what I've seen. Regarding land use, we've taken some excellent outdoor pictures, and are quite happy with the camera for general use. I shot quite a bit of dive video with decent results, and may try to post some if anyone's interested.
