KEWL! Glad the package made it, you're quite welcome!

We have snow on the ground right now, maybe 3 inches or so and it's still falling and very pretty. I highly recommend getting up before sunrise and going for a walk while the snow falls before traffic gets moving, it's VERY peaceful.

Gotta be careful wanting 3-6 feet of snow around here, you can lose children attempting to make snow angels in that  There's nothing quite like trying to walk in snow when you're sinking in to your hip every time you take a step :11:

Here's a link
to Ohio's DOT web cams. It takes a couple tries to get the hang of using the site but it's fun :D Click on "Web Cameras" and then "apply filter" then you run your mouse over the purple globs that represent multiple cameras and click when the name of an intersection pops up.

A conch invading Ohio isn't all that odd but a conch invading Ohio in DECEMBER is downright insane :rofl3:

BTW, Steve likes it when women walk up and say "Hey little boy..." :rofl3::eyebrow::rofl3:

I didn't even think about the web cams until someone I work with mentioned using one to check traffic before he leaves home.

If I keep pestering Steve he's not going to want to volunteer to help with my classes any more :11: He really is a nice guy.

Yes Ber, I "...want you to make me a man." :blinking: :10: :cuddles: :broken_he :no

(A 13 hour workday hasn't left me completely comatose.)

He really is a nice guy.

That's better! :giveusahu

Poured down the snow here today. Ski areas are very happy. And my kid really liked it...no school today and already a 2 hour delay for tomorrow!

Whew! My cubicle buddy said his car read 2F this morning. Mine read 4F but tends to read high.

Have we discussed the long standing tradition of licking metal objects in winter??? :D

That would mean NO SNOW:11:

We need snow:sleigh::laughsnow:

PS: Had to change the snowman, santa's deer were going to chop his head off:rofl3:

Becky

I do believe you may be one of the few people in Ohio at that time that will be wishing for snow. ;o)
It's too bad Cedar Point is closed- that's one of the best things about Ohio. It probably wouldn't be too fun in the snow anyways.
You should def. find a big hill and get some sleds and go sledding and also an ice skating rink and do that. During the winter, we have some ice rinks that are outside even. I know there is an awesome snow tubing place down there too. It's about an hour from Columbus in Mansfield, Ohio but it's a blast and your kids would probably love it. Snowtrails - Snowtubing They also have skiing and some other things.
There's also Mad River Mountain about 50 minutes from COL. It is about the same thing as Snow Trails. Snow Tubing | Ski Mad River My husband, sister and I went a few years back and it was sooo much fun!
Hope you enjoy your trip to cold and nasty Ohio! ;o) If you guys like it so much you decide you'd like to stay, I know where there is a wonderful house in Findlay (not too far from COL) that could be available as soon as I got my stuff packed up in exchange for your house in paradise. :eyebrow:

It's cold now but I think it's supposed to be 53 degrees on Sunday in Dayton.

Becky, DO NOT let the boys lick anything metal. This includes licking the snow off of vehicle windows. Let's just say I got my tongue stuck to the metal edge of a window on the side of a pick-up truck cap once when nobody was around. Eating snow is fine, just make sure it's white and you pick it up then put it in your mouth  OH and don't scoop so deep that you end up picking up grass/dirt/etc. :D

:froggy::doctor: Yes Sir it was Steve Dives that told us to lick the metal objects like that poll :11::( Well you and the kids are going to be fine just keep your tounges wraped up for about a week. And for Steve Dives next time he has to come in and see me I will make sure he is paid back 10X's over :D :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
