I mean this in all seriousness, but why? Examples?
My dive buddies say pulling and gliding with the thumb loop is pretty nice in the caves...not that I would know anything about that. :eyebrow:

I suppose it's really just personal preference -- I like how it works.

Time to buy Halcyon? :eyebrow:

Hmm, lemme think:

Halcyon: €1,700
Salvo: €1,100 + metal Goodman handle €35.

Still don't see the case for a Halcyon.

I'm of the opinion that all goodman handles should be metal, and all HIDs should come equipped with thumb loops and tekna knives...

I looked at the thumb loop, but it does kind of get in the way of the focus lock screw. You can always move the screw to the other side but then it's more annoying to use. I figure that as I have no scooter I don't see why I need to make life more difficult with a thumb loop.

How does it get in the way? They're not anywhere close to each other.

If you saw it from the top down, you would see that there is lots of room.

Thumb loop would be nice though. I've been eyeing Tobin's (cause I'm too lazy to make my own)

It is a great add-on he's made. Takes 10 mins, a philipshead screwdriver and an allen wrench. Feels solid, soooo much better than trying to do something myself.
