Hi guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike Pierce and I recently got certified for Open Water by SDI on 10/25/09. I've been reading a lot on this board for several months now and finally decided to join up. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, sharing stories, and asking dumb questions haha. Greetings Mike and welcome to Scuba Board! It is awesome to have you aboard, how did you start diving? That is always a easy question to ask.
Just remember that the only foolish question is the one you didi not ask! Some get grouchy in their old age but on the New Diver forum it is about those starting out and learning, so ask away.
I am glad to have a UFC fighter represented here. It never ceases to amaze me the variety of people in the diving community. We are a family that for the most part gets along there are a few differences, but what family doesn't? If you have been lurking for a while I am sure that you understand what I am saying.
