I wouldnt get to excited on the spring AI will be available. We all know that it could be Fall for the next available date.
 
I am happy I passed on the Icon. Great looking computer but one thing I wanted was the AI. Decieded to go with the Uemis after waiting, and waiting, and seeing the AI getting pushed back more and more.

Hey guys, I'll know more details next week. I understand the frustration, but you can leave the sarcasm out of it. I think the bashing has been enough; we are late, we recognize this, I can't explain here why, but it is what it is. We are working as quickly as possible to get this to market, for many reasons.

Zak I just started this post because I want to know if Mares is still on schedule with AI. I alredy reschedule my vacations twice and my wife is really mad. I don't want to tell her one more time that we have to change our plans
 
You really changed your vacation because of a computer? hope it doesn't fail on you...
 
Really? You keep missing deadlines YOU set and then come into a public forum to scold the people that want to buy your product? Hmmm.
 
While I appreciate the frustration everyone feels about the AI, I thank Zak for being here. I too am waiting as well. I'm perhaps in a better position than most as I still have my console and old computer on my regs so do not have to have the AI yet. That being said I'm happy waiting if that is what it takes to get the product right. I would rather have it work amazing out of the box than deal with any issues if it was rushed to market to satisfy a marketing date. I am super happy with the HD and look forward to the added benefit of AI.
 
Oh, I have an nice AI computer from another manufacturer. Reading this is my first experience with anyone from Mares. That is my point. When it is time for a new computer I won't be looking here with an attitude like that. What kind of response would I get if there were problems with a computer bought from them?

Zak volunteers to come around. He can't control what his company does with production. He has repeatedly told what he knows on this and multiple other threads. The sarcasm here and the rudeness, tempers and grumpiness on other threads are seemingly aimed at "the messenger". Zak is making a personal effort to keep us as informed as possible. In my short time on SB, I have never seen him trying to sell a product, but maybe I missed it. I am surprised that he is not more defensive than this. And as a parent of four, I know I sometimes just get sick of hearing whining.
