Reason #315: Because there's some excellent sea-side para-gliding to be done at Nai Harn Beach and Laem Phrom Thep in Phuket.

reason 319: Even when you experience floods. Street vendors continue to go around selling food.

Welcome back bowmouth, not heard from you for a long time, trust you are ok?

Dive with green mambas in Nonthaburi. Hurry up whilst the flooding lasts!

And a few weeks ago, there was the potential to dive with the escaped crocodiles just outside Pattaya. the window of oportunity was quite small as the flood only lasted a day and they caught 'all' of the croc's quite quickly, however a couple of weeks later one was found about 60km away near Rayong and as far as I am aware its origin is still a mystery?

Probably won't be the last one either!

Where else could regional rivalries generate so much vitriol?

Thanks Lord Khram, I'm fine.
I've been working offshore in China a lot this year (taking care of our saturation divers working on pipelines @ 475 fsw in the Huizhou Oil Fields) and have had very little access to a proper internet connection. I'm currently still in China but will be on my way home (Phuket) soon and hope to be at least off until early next year. Hope to be able to add a few more posts to this thread when I'm back in Thailand.
